I am an Incorporated Engineer, a Fellow of the Institute of Highway Incorporated Engineers and a Member of the Institution of Highways and Transportation.
DT Transport Planning was formed in April 2003 prior to which I was employed in the private sector as a Regional Manager for a large national consultancy. In that post I was responisble for overseeing the preparation of Transport Assesments, Travel Plans, and access solutions to accompany developmant proposals. I also represented Clients as an expert witness on highway matters at planning appeals of all levels.
Before working in the priate sector I was employed by Oxfordshire County Council highways for a total of seven years working in highway design, implementation, on site and then found my way into highways development control.
I left Oxfordshire County Council in 1997 by moving to Buckinghamshire County Council where I continued to work in higways developmant control before leaving for the private sector.
